I get aggravated enough when other sites use my FB and attach to it for example: spotify. I don't want everyone knowing exactly what song I'm listening to 24/7. I'd definitely say the same for things like ebay, some people don't want their name out there for all the crap they buy.
I don't think FB will be replaced as quickly as some think, but I don't think it'll go in the direction you're thinking either

Add to that I'm not even conceptually sure how or who could sue the shareholders of a company as a class. I don't think that's possible.
eta: And yeah I agree with yall about the other shite, these "x watched OMGZ SNAKES VIDEO THUG FIGHTS COP WRESTLING MATCH BEST EVER on SocialCam" or whatever that pop up like 20 times a day are awful. Keep waiting for the pr0n to pop up and ruin someone's life. Gonna happen.

I'm with you, I put a high value on privacy on the internet and deactivated my Facebook a long time ago. However, the trend is moving toward more transparency on the internet, whether we like it or not.
