SAMS no longer taking Visa credit

I swear I've always used my Visa credit card there but last night I was turned down because they no longer accept Visa credit. Am I wrong in thinking I've always used my Visa credit card there or is this a new policy? The cashier told me it's because Visa went up to 4% per swipe. Wal-Mart still accepts it.
If you have Visa stock, I'd dump it right about now.

I've only been a SAMs club member for 2 years and they have never accepted it in those two years.

Hmm, I could have sworn I've been using my Visa credit card there. Maybe it's been longer than I thought since I've been to SAMS.

Also been a SAMS member for two years and my visa has never worked. Just use my discover.

Sam's has never accepted visa. at least the one where I live never has

Debit works. And from what I understand, some Sams clubs may accept a visa credit card. It just depends on the store.

Visa does not charge 4% per swipe and basing investment decisions on what a cashier tells you is not a smart move.

They take MasterCard but not visa, seems strange but that is the way it is

They haven't taken Visa ever that I know of. I had a Mastercard and they took that, but now i have the Sam's Discover card and use it in store.
They take the visa online though.

They take Visa debit but not credit. Been that way since I can remember. They only take MasterCard and discover for credit

They do not take Amex, but costco only takes Amex.

I haven't shopped at Sam's or WalMart in years. My servants probably do, I'll ask them.

For many, many years, Sam's only took Discover Card. However, they added MasterCard a long time ago. I never remember them taking Visa, although I could be mistaken.
