I am planning on opening a Roth account in one of these companies from my research I've narrowed it down to these two. Does anyone have any word of advice on which one to go with? Tia

I have both and you can't go wrong with either.
I like the trading platform at fidelity better.
But that's just a style over substance issue for me.

Have my Roth with Vanguard(wanted access to funds) and 401k and some non-retirement stocks with Fidelity.

I agree that Fidelity has a better interface for buying stock. IMO

This ^

I also have rolled over a IRA from Schwab to Vanguard... I find Vanguard has better funds while Fidelity's App and interface is more user friendly for brokerage accounts.
