No fricking way. Maybe an LTZ for that price, that's way too much for a 2011 LT. I looked at a certified 2012 Suburban LT with 77k miles for $23k about a year ago. The one you're looking at is way overpriced.

That's kind of what I figured, any idea what a good OTD price would be? I would actually prefer a Suburban or Yukon XL so I may just keep looking.

I have a 2011 with about 60k miles on it. It's an LT. Not going to lie, it hasn't lived up to the price tag. I had the cracked dash (which was replaced under warranty). I've had a few things go out wayyyy too early (changing a daytime running lamp is a BITCH). I've got the paint coming off the buttons for the AC and radio. Good bit a rattling. And we treat the vehicle pretty well. I'm not surprised to see the price around there when a new one is going to cost you 50k, but I think I'm shying away from them for my next purchase (even if they have updated). And I've always driven chevy.

Price seems a little much. I paid $22500 for an 07 LT 4 years back with about 80k on it.

Dash was cracked in mine in the same place and also above the steering wheel, that can cause some rattling issues. You can get a dash cover on ebay for between $100-200.

Learn how to clean the throttle body and that can save you some money down the road. Chevy has an issue with that on a lot of their trucks.

They are high. Im thinking you'd want to be around 20k-20.5k for a selling price.

Its not decoding with the VIN, but does it have any special package on it?

I sold a 2007 Yukon SLT3 4x4 that was totally loaded last October with 135,000 miles for $14k. It sat for nearly a month with no bites at KBB suggested private party ($16.5k). 2007 was likely the worst year mechanically for GM trucks (bankruptcy) and mine was no exception. I replaced both exterior mirror motors ($1k), axle bearings etc. ($1500), cracked leather driver's seat ($200), and lots of other goofy shite you'd think would last longer. Hell, every time I took it in the shop they told me the upper & lower ball joints were shot (~$700).

I say all this not to scare you off the truck, as the drivetrain seems to be solid and they can last forever if you maintain them, but to suggest that you get in-depth maintenance records.

You're in a real catch22 with your search: traditional banks will finance a 2011 with 96k miles for $25k but wouldn't touch a 2007 with 135,000 miles for half that.

I used to tow a boat with the Tahoe. Worked well enough (smaller boat). I really like the look of the vehicle and it's not the worst thing in the world. Everything has been minor for sure. But all the minor shite added together makes me question why they price them so high. I will say I've never had a lick of trouble with the drive train. It's all small cosmetic stuff.

When I bought this one, I looked at used and tried to spend about 10k to get me over for few years. Even looking at old body styles (2006 and older) with higher mileage (80-100k), everything was like 15k. Since then the new price has gone up significantly, and this body style isn't quite an "old looking" style yet. I could see them asking in the 20's for a 5 year old vehicle. I just don't think it's worth it.

Before we bought this, we toyed with the idea of buying an older SUV for a few years and then getting something new. Shopping used really showed me how much SUV's kept their value.

But driving Expeditions and Tahoes, I felt like the Tahoes held up much better than the Fords. Now this isn't saying anything for models since 2011. This was more like 2005ish year models being test driven 6 or 7 years later. I will have to say that a King Ranch expedition has an amazing interior.
