I use Fidelity for everything, and they just released their bitcoin ETF. 0% expense ratio and no cost buy

It debuted at 41.99 yesterday and went to $51 before settling at 42 at end of day

This morning it’s at $39

Can someone explain to me how bitcoin can be up but the ETF is way down? I guess I just assumed all these ETFs are tied to how Bitcoin does.

Just wondering how long I should wait to get in

Btc touched 49k yesterday and is sitting a little above 45k right now. That’s down.

Buyers and selliers not watching the underlying asset (BTC) and trading per their respective sentiments at that moment in time? At the specific times you mentioned, there were more sellers than buyers. The ETF is not technically synched to or beholden to the fluctuations of underlying BTC token.
