New Amex Platinum card

Card is now being made of steel (I just heard about it last week, so maybe this has been known for a while). And the annual fee was bumped to $550. It's the Centurion 2.0 lol. Anyone have the new metal platinum?

They added like $15 in free Uber rides per month. The chase sapphire reserve is still probably a better card for most people

That's what the customer service lady told me. I may "drop out" of the centurion club and get the platinum or sapphire down the line.

Need to understand the benefits more. I have no loyalties and will chase the best deal out there.

The 15 dollar a month uber refund is so stupid. Why not just do it 200 dollars a year.

Because no one will use $15 a month like they would $200/ year. Its a gimmicky bonus. Someone makes one trip to a big city and they use the $200 in a long weekend, $15 a month most people will probably use like $70 a year of it.
