I was introduced to Walmart's Savings Catcher feature on their phone app this weekend and a whole new world has opened up to me. I am curious if any of you have other recommendations similar to this?

FYI: The Savings Catcher feature lets you scan your receipt and Walmart will compare the items purchased against other store's prices. If any of the competitor's price are found to be lower, Walmart will reimburse you the difference in what you paid and the other store's price as store credit.

Target has the Cartwheel App. It's basically just coupons that are not otherwise advertised. Usually some decent deals on things we already buy.

Snap, Checkout 51, Ibotta (best), Shopmium, and BerryCart.

edit: these are coupon apps that let you scan your receipts and get money back for purchasing certain things. Ibotta even has discounts on liquor and beer; in some cases, really good discounts.

Just downloaded this, and this is an awesome app. $4 off hooters wings right off the bat.

Ibotta is definitely the best out of all the ones I listed. They have discounts on all kinds of things now.

Just downloaded Ibotta too. Got 70¢ in redemptions from the wife's grocery trip today.

Does Ibotta direct deposit into your bank account?

You send it to your paypal account. Have to reach $10 before paying out though.

You can also use it to for gift cards or cash via a Venmo (?) account.

Some of the other apps I listed will pay directly to your bank account if you want it to. They have various amounts that you need to reach before paying out though. But none are very high.

So with Ibotta you buy milk, for example, and then take a picture of the bar code and receipt?
