That's a great question. Anyone know if the degree says LSUS or LSU??

They are two different online degrees. The one from LSUS would say its from LSUS

I thought the LSU system was trying to revamp and they all say LSU now?

I actually got a call from one of the advisors today but missed the call I'm going to return the voicemail tomorrow and ask him about the LSU and LSUS merger and what not. I'm also going to ask what the diploma would state. Since LSUS is part of the LSU school system I would claim I got the degree from LSU, LSUS is more or so a branch of LSU.

This is dishonest, IMO. LSU offers its own online MBA program.

I don't even know where to begin with your statement. Simply stated, they are separate universities under one governing board.

My firm would most definitely look into where the degree is from, figure it out in 30 seconds and totally discount the degree.

Guess it depends on the firm though. Mine is very picky about where a degree is from though.

If you live in FL, why in the world would you not think about UF's MBA program?

I'm guessing it has to do with price, otherwise he'd go after the LSU MBA over the LSUS MBA.

Well, a lot of Ivey league or similar grads here. Brown, Cornell, Georgetown law, NYU, and Harvard. Also one Miami, which has a very strong law school.

So, yeah, they aren't going to think a whole hell of a lot of an online degree to begin with.

Well law and business is a lot different. Right now I have a bachelors in cardiopulmonary science, I work trauma. I plan on moving up in the hospital system or taking a completely different route and getting out of healthcare in general. That's why I'm leaning towards MBA over MHA Bc a MBA is obviously more diverse. The reason I am very interested in LSUS is Bc of the price. I believe an online program is an online program, I don't think one is that much better than another to add on tens of thousands of dollars. UF is pretty expensive, I've looked in Florida, it was my first search.

Just got off the phone with an advisor and I can say so far I've had great help the advisor really took the time to explain everything which I find very important. He explained that LSUS is a sister campus to LSU and the degree would read "Lousiana State University of Shreveport".

It's also has the dual business accreditation.
