I think I kind of lucked out because I didn't really take into consideration what was offered when, when I started the program. I also wasn't extremely picky about my electives, kind of ended up choosing from what ever fit my schedule to allow me to finish in a year. From reading this board I know I will end up with a session from hell but I think it will be worth it. This is the rotation I went with:
Fall 1- BADM 701 and MADM 710
Fall 2- BADM 700 and ECON 705
Spring 1- ACCT 701 and FIN 701
Spring 2- ISDS 702 and MADM 760

Planning to take MKT 701 and MADM 701 Summer 1 and MADM 720 and my last elective in Summer 2 and I think I will be done unless I am overlooking/forgetting about a class?

Sadly, no. By the time I thought to go check on Moodle (for the assignments) the class had been removed from the home page.

Saw that and I want to say I heard somewhere it was 35.

Yeah I was able to work on them. Chapter 4 isn't bad. Chapter 5 isn't bad either but you have to know what it's asking for on the chart to derive certain answers. The videos he posted are super helpful. I'll feel a little better once I see the practice problems and solutions open up on the 20th. Always have to get that 1st test out the way to be at ease.

I got just accepted into this program.
I want to know when they make decision about waiving BADM700 and BADM701. I have a Masters in Industrial Engineering and hoping get waivers for these courses.
Do I need to contact them ?


Also I did Finance Management and Management Information Systems before. Do I need to fill any form to have them consider for transfer ?

Any information about these is appreciated.

PGanapa, This is what it says about the foundation courses exemption:

Foundation Course Exemptions(3,4)

You are exempt from taking one or both of the foundation courses if you have:

o An undergraduate degree in business

o Taken undergraduate courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Finance for BADM 700

o Taken undergraduate courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Statistics for BADM 701

Upon admittance to the MBA program, our office reviews all new students for these exemption criteria and applies overrides for either one or both foundation courses. It is not necessary to contact our office to request this action.



(3) You are required to take the foundation courses if you do not meet the exemption criteria listed above.

(4) BADM 700 exemption requires that all 3 courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Finance have been taken. BADM 701 exemption requires that all 3 courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Statistics have been taken.


Based on that info it looks like you may not get the exemption. It also says you do not need to contact them. However I have an undergrad in Accounting so I met the requirements for exemption and I had to call get the exemption put on my degree audit.

Looking at them now. They seem pretty straightforward. Are you even going to focus on chapter 4?
