Hi GSMBA16, Who did you take for ECON 705? And are you in Vines FIN 701? Would you recommend either of your professors? It looks like a lot of people like Vines but seems a little tough? I need to take either one or both of those classes for AP2 session. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Took my test two (FIN701 VINES) before the superbowl. It was graded by the 4th quarter-ish. I had maybe 3 Quantitative questions out of the 10. Ended up with a 92. I didn't think it was too bad, but it was more challenging than test 1.

Shaugnesey (spelling is wrong i know) for ECON and Vines for FIN 701. I would recommend both professors just due to they really allow you to learn material and are open to help whenever needed. I would NOT pair the 2 courses together. That would be a nightmare because both courses require a lot of time to prepare for.

Got mine then too. I guess he was tired of the superbowl! Ended up with a 90, I will take it. I agree it was much more challenging than Test 1.

Took FIN701 module 2 last night and had 6 quant. which made test 2 much more tolerable than the last. It really is just the luck of the dice

Has anyone taken both MKT 701 and MADM 701? If so which of the two does not involve group projects? Also is one less time consuming then the other? Thanks.

I've taken MKT701 and am currently taking MADM701. Neither of them involves group projects. They're both time consuming, although, I felt that MKT701 was a bit more. The problem with MADM701 is the grading. Extremely unfair, unrealistic, and inconsistent. I'm a 4.0 student and I'm currently sitting at a C in this class, which has me completely stressed.

Both unfortunately are time consuming. I don't recall having much group work with either. Dr. James is great for MKT.

I've taken BADM700, BADM701, ECON705, and MKT701. All 4 courses had their respective challenges, but I was fortunate enough to get an A in all 4. Now I'm taking ACCT701, which I have a high A in so far, and MADM701, which I've got a C in! Currently struggling with Dr. Felice Williams' PA, he's not responsive is is the toughest grader I've ever had in my life. I'm beyond stressed in this class, even though it's probably the most interesting one yet.

Dr. Williams has 2 academic coaches that perform most of the grading. Yes, it is like pulling teeth. I loathed the inconsistency of the grading process. I managed an A, but barely (90.3%).

jabdallah, who was your teacher for MKT 701? I'd like to take that class next semester.

Back in 2008, I was watching CNN one night talk about ranking the best affordable online MBA programs. I used their list when searching for my school. I ended up choosing Texas A&M University Commerce because they were ranked #2 on the list at the time and they gave me the most money which helped me to go there for free.
Here are the 2016 Rankings LINK

I thought LSUS was over 13,000 for the entire program? That link says it's under $12,000?? Did it go down in cost?

Marketing ploy. Tuition alone may start at under $12k if certain conditions are met (i.e. business related undergrad, etc.), but program cost has risen. I finished in December 2015 and my total cost was between $12k and $13k, including fees but not books. So I think that link is more of "starting under $12k" type ad verbiage.
Btw, you deserve commission per post as much as you tout the program lol.

I think the program is great.

Still waiting on my grade but I also "thought" it was much easier than Mod. 1. Even had time to go back through and recheck every answer.

I took my exam last night and just got my grade posted. Managed an A but had 13 minutes to go back and review my answers and found 1 problem that I had calculated wrong.
