Just finished my last final of the program! I thought this day would never come, but it's finally over! Shout out to Brentb71, 9BREES9, MondayAMQB, Paul Allen, Benny, Wolfpack, and all the others for providing quality information and insight during my duration of the program! If I ever run into any of you, beers are on me!
Special shout out to socal77 for his guidance in several classes. If anybody has a class with him, definitely utilize him as a resource because he usually finds out the scoop on everything regarding the class! He's a good dude and thanks for all the notes, textbooks, etc....I look forward to catching a game with you someday!
If anybody needs any information on the program please don't hesitate to ask. Good luck to everybody currently in the program, your day will finally come!

lsusports, you are too kind! You're the one that helped me immensely! So happy for you. And I know you wouldn't brag about yourself, but please forgive me if I do - lsusports is graduating with a perfect 4.0! Job well done, man!

I ain't gonna lie... I'm terrified taking MADM 701 and ACCT 701 together next session. These emails from Dr. Williams telling me how hard her class is sure aren't helping! Just have to lock myself in a room for 7 weeks and get it done.

I did that pairing last session. Not really that bad. ACCT 701 I spent maybe an hour to an hour and a half a week max. It used cenage completely. Not sure how the new format is going to pan out. As for MADM 701, when I took it, she used wiley. You had to take a 20 question assessment before you could take the assessment you needed to for points. Then you had to do an assignment in wiley (same thing as assessments but it is graded by how many you get right). Weekly exams using proctorio through moodle. Last but not least, 1000 word discussion board post. If there is any similarity when I paired the two, MADM 701 is going to eat your time.

I have MADM 701 and MKT 701. I took MADM 715 with Dr. Williams and yes, there is a lot of writing and long postings but her grading is fair. So I am anticipating a lot of reading and writing. Her welcome letter is a nice addition to this class. In the 715 class, many people complained on the lack of clarity in the instructions and syllabus. So I guess this is the result of that. Anyone have any insight on MKT 701 with Dr. Aadel Darrat?

DC213, that's a very aggressive pairing of MADM 701 with MKT 701. These two classes have arguably the most writing and busy work. If you're not working full time, it's doable. Otherwise I'd consider another pairing. Just my two cents.

Socal, what would be ideal in your opinion? Not sure if I can switch at this time, can I? The class is in my Moodle.

Yes, you can still switch classes right up until they start. My suggestion is to mix a "busy work" class with quantitative class like FIN or ACCT.
So MADM 701 with either FIN 701 or ACCT 701
or MKT 701 with FIN 701 or ACCT 701.

Does anyone have any experience with Dr. Hsiegh and his final grades? I am sitting dead on a 89.00 for the course, does he have a history of curving any? Life is so much easier when we make a dead on 90 or above and don't have to play the waiting game with our grades!

Thanks for the info brent, I need to make a perfect on this FIN 710 test to pull out an A. Congrats on finishing up LSU, I took ISDS 705 Final yesterday and I will be taking FIN 710 later tonight to finish up the program as well. Thanks to everyone on the board for providing information, and just a place to vent. Now heres to hoping I can ace that 710 test to keep up with LSU and some of you others and finish the program with a 4.0

I'll be finished come October. I have FIN 701 & ACCT 701. Thank you for your insight as well. Good luck with your future endeavors. I may see some of you guys in December as I plan to walk across that stage after busting arse for the last 15 months.

Do most professors have pre recorded sessions to go over material? Power points?
Specially Finance 701- reading ahead in the book but would be nice if there are sessions or pose points to review with my notes once things get going
