Anyone get to ride MPET up? Cheniere's former CEO and a BG guy are recapitzaling it to build a new LNG plant in LC area. Big capital commitments already from GE and Total. More competition for LNG limited.

Mpet did what Lnglf was hoping to do. Where you in it Sneaky?

Except they don't have every Ferc commitment and the only Canadian pipeline.

Don't own it but am a buyer if it drops down to $7-8. I looked at it when they announced the merger at about $5. MPET shateholders will own 5% of the post-merger business. It's overpriced now, value at $1.5 billion.

True...but shows consumer confidence in global LNG is on rise in my opinion after going dormant for 3 years....businesses are shopping looking for the best deals.

Have they broken ground for the Lake Chuck project?
Posted on 1/24/17 at 11:16 am to GeneralLee
Not only that also heard recently a rfp for housing of construction workers was sent out.

I read through most of their investor presentations today. One major thing that seems missing is their projected earnings on the projects, assuming they come to fruition. They talk about how their technology is lower cost and give a rough ballpark of what their cost per unit would be, but no estimates of what their margins would be on their costs.

I'd like to get a legitimate update and timetable. It appears to me as though they are working on contracts, if there are enough contracts to make it feesible they will break ground. After they break ground 5-7 years before they start pumping/shipping. So best guess is that it will be 2023 before they ship they're first drop of lng?
Does anybody know anything that contradicts what I've heard?
I was under the impression several years ago that they'd be finished with construction by 2017/18 but that was prolly never on the timetable.

Anyone have any thoughts on LNGLY? I'm still holding but can't find any news on them
Posted on 3/7/17 at 12:56 pm to Old Sarge
Anybody got thoughts on what the Exxon announcement implies for LNGLF? Seems like at face value it would be bearish as some of LNGLF's potential customers would likely contract with Exxon now.

It's not good. XOM will be competing with them directly in the LNG space and investing billions more in downstream projects that will soak up gas supplies that might otherwise be available for export.
Everyone should compare the market cap of TELL to LNGLF/Y to get an idea of the market's confidence in these guys.
LNG limited has spent hundreds of millions of investors money over the last 5+ years with very little to show for it.

There's an update on Seeking Alpha today.
Says the project is shovel ready.
