Litecoin going crazy

What is the deal with litecoin. Bitcoin is all over the news and has moving upwards slowly (relatively speaking). But Litecoin is skyrocketing. What is the reason for this? Any theories?

People seeing crypto on the news are going right to the most popular exchange, coinbase. Coinbase trades only three cryptocurrencies and it looks attractive because people can afford a whole piece of it? Dunno, but it's crazy.

Bitcoin got too expensive for a share so people moved to something they could afford.
Once this inflates they will move to the next one
Perfectcoin, truecoin, awesomecoin,....

Since I got started in crypto (which wasn't long ago, sometime aroudn when I first saw this thread months ago) I've put pretty much everyting into ETH, as individual coins kinda scared me off a bit. I'm kicking myself now for not getting into LTC. Last week I bought $100 worth but now I'm a bit anxious to put more in with the height it's at now.
How high can LTC reasonably expect to go? Obviously it'd be great if it'd dip down to about $100 again but I mean if the sky's the limit I guess I'll just keep putting in now.

Yeah I"m not touching eth, I'm holding that one for the long haul. I was more so talking about LTC, I'd love to buy more but obvoiusly it'd be nicer to do that when it's around $150 instead of $400, as I would only have a limited amount of funds to devote to it.

so im trading it on binance, and it isnt nearly worth it is on coinbase. lets say i transfer my 7.37 worth of litecoin from binance to coinbase, will i still have 7.37 litecoin, or will they hit me for the difference in the valuation?

Why are the exchanges so different. COinbase has it at 375. Binance at 323

Coinbase is easier to get cash into. New investors are running there with all the news out.
