Just bought $5k of GLD

Put a stop quote at $100 and got in at $115.77. Stock hasn't been below $100 since 2009 and it appears it is steadily rising due to the turmoil from the anti-trump movement.
Any thoughts on this?

I've been thinking of getting some gold and silver eagles (bullion coins).
Some right wing nuts were prepping for end times and buying gold under Obama. Now they think they are safe, and they rest of us are digging cellars and hoarding ammo and gold.

I'm looking at this as a very short term investment. Looks like it's been up the last few days. I'll sell when it hits $118 - $121.
