Is there a "best time of the year" to buy a golf cart?

Since they are somewhat seasonal items, is it better to buy in spring, now, or Christmas to get the best deal? Or does it just not matter?

You going to buy a new one, or one that's being retired from a golf course? I bought the latter about a year ago, it's a 2012, and we love it.

Gulf coast golf carts in diamondhead is the only place on the coast that i know of and I have heard several good things about them. But still, if I'm going to buy this ridiculous "toy" for my husband I at least want a good deal.

Where did you get it and how much? I was quoted 3500 for a new one with no upgrades.

I paid $3500 for mine from Quality Custom Carts in BSL. It was $2700 straight off of the golf course, but I bought the back seat and road worthiness package (turn signals, horn, lights, battery meter, and rear view mirror).
