What would you do? Looking to use it for a house/land in the next 5-7 years so I'd like little risk.

Risk is hard to avoid if you want reward.

US Treasury bonds are safe, but you risk inflation eating away your profits.

Are you going to absolutely need it for a house in 5-7 years or just looking to use it? IMO, invest it in a Vanguard index fund if you can stand to go forward on your house plan regardless of whether or not the market is down when you're ready to buy the house. Otherwise, Treasury bonds or CD's I guess.

I'd just put it in an fund that is moderately risked. Sure there is a small chance it didn't grow or lost a little but better chance you can just buy a little nicer house or can lower your mortgage

QLD/UBT 50/50 or risk parity rebalanced annually.
