Not so great, will not look too hot with another 4 years of progressive rule

But my personal investments are almost all defense and are doing great. Lockheed Martin will be above 500 soon

Heavy in energy and mining though.

Haven’t looked at it in over a year, I’ll wait until the next administration and keep buying in at a discount

Similar 401K tanked except I have invested in O&G when it was rock bottom. I jumped on Halliburton at $7/share. It's at 33

XOM at 40
VLO at 45

Anyway, between real estate and stocks should help offset 401K but would obviously prefer to have all investments humming like during the Trump days. Also, the inflation has eroded percentage by a large margin.

The person responsible for your 401 is you, genius. Pay attention, make adjustments when necessary and it won't matter what temporarily occupies the White House.

I'm all for tweaking it on occasion, but hyper active management of a 40 year investment feels too much like trying to reverse climate cycles for me.

I don't know what I'm doing. Not risking it.

I'm not close to retirement so I'm just buying the dip anyway.

The market was at 3700 when Biden took office. It’s now at 4100, so it’s up a little over 10%. Perhaps politics are not the problem and your investing is the problem if your 401k has tanked while the overall market is up 10% in the same timeframe.

Nothing but downvotes Facts truly don't matter to the stupid fricks on this board.

And another thing - the original complaint was that, after Biden came into office, the market was sky high due to the sugar high of crazy stimulus and all that (a point I actually agree with). But now that it has backed off a bit, IT'S REALLY BAD AND ALL BIDEN'S FAULT...even though it's still net up.

The board never fails to give.
