Can you make a claim to pay for removal of a tree that is dead after being struck by lightning?

You absolutely can. Depending on what your policy says.

Yep ... my inlaws have Farm Bureau and they sure were able to file a claim.

Thx. I'll give my insurance a call today.

Call the agent's office and ask about your policy, normally it is a limit of $500...

No if the tree dies then unfortunately there is no coverage - if lightning struck it --then you have a claim.
