Just bought a house and am looking for any carrier/pricing/coverage info from any other homeowners in the area.

We live in Cinco and use Josh Busch with Farmers in Sugarland. Our first year we had Liberty Mutual and it was a very low rate, the next year they doubled it. So we switched and that company bumped theirs up after a year. We contacted Josh after some friends recommended him, got us a great rate on cars and house, and I got an notice saying ours was going up by $1000 this year. I called, and it was a mistake, it actually went down compared to last year.

Here ya go...

I can't put my hands on the flood insurance but it is around 350-400 annually. I keep the building and content coverage pretty high, so they could probably select another plan and save a few dollars.

Homeowners is 733.00 annually. This includes 177k for dwelling, 17k for other structures 71 k for personal property, 300k personal liability, 5 k for medical payments to others, 35k for loss of coverage, and 5K for fungal/rot remediation.

Windstorm is 1551.00 for 181 k dwelling and 66 K in contents.

We use Frank Toman at Allstate

The windstorm is a beast, but only required in Galveston and Brazoria county. The house above was 1662sf.
