State Farm goes up like 10-15% every year and then before you know it you are paying double for the same insurance.

I went to Farm Bureau for the house, investment prop and Geico for the cars. State Farm does have much better customer service for car insurance though but to me it's not worth paying double the amount for the same insurance coverage.

Mistake was made and assumed it was on autopay. It went into cancellation. I was paying 250/mnth for both vehicles.....now they want me to be "reassessed" and raise rate to 700/month

Screw those assholes. I already had an agent tell me they wanted fewer customers in LA.

Get out of StateFarm. They are freaking crooks. I will never go back to them.

I'm with USAA for auto, homeowners and personal property, i.e. jewelry insurance.

There may be cheaper combinations out there, but I won't switch. USAA replaced a 5 year old roof due to hail damage, no questions asked. And their service is second to none.

I've found that rotating between 3-4 companies every 1-2 years is the way to go to keep competitive rates. Just make sure you understand the policies and keeping everything adequately insured with minimal deductibles.

I had SF for 10 years, auto/renters/life & auto/HO/Life

I kept my life policies with SF, but moved my auto/HO & wife's ring to Liberty Mutual.

Been with LM for 4 years, no complaints

This, every new policy I get you see rates creep up after the first year or two. I give the company the opportunity to reduce the rate to what I was originally quoted if not I jump ship. Do the same with cable, internet, etc.

I've been with Progressive for over 8 years car insurance-wise and been quite happy. Once we built out in Walker I gave their HOI company-ASI Insurance-a shot at quoting me. They knocked it out of the park.

Very pleased. Of course we'll see once a Category 3 blows through but then again I won't be the only one.

St Farm put me in a bind and refuses to work on the issue.

I'm with Republic now with home and auto.

I will look into liberty Mutual and USAA (my dad served).

***guys look closely at your St Farm policy. My hurricane deductible was $25k !!!***
