Oh no it's real. I'll keep y'all posted. I may have gotten "to" excited and jumped the gun, thinking i could get it all done and "orginized"in less than a year. Looks like I was wrong on that end. But like I said I'll try to keep you in the loop. BP might get pushed back because of the holidays but I will post the summary to see what y'all think

I'm not too interested in the business plan because we already know you're an idiot. I'd be more interested in seeing a live stream of when you present it to your daddy's friends.

On top of the more obvious reasons, here is another reason you will fail. There are no such things as holidays for those who are serious about their small business until they are at least well established.

Well we have off work four days this weekend. I'm living out of state in a hotel. My apartment will be available april but isn't furnished( only thing available and I've been here since March 2) so I'm driving in to get some furniture a bed and a few other things for my apartment. It's an 11 hour drive so I'll be in the road for 2 of the 4 days. Not really a holiday vacation where I won't be doing shite but I get what you are saying.

I honestly don't see it flopping. At all.

I stopped reading after this... Go to an investor and tell him that, see how far it gets you.

This is your business plan I'm assuming:
1) Pay a premium for location you think is a can't lose
2) Copy some other business model that you perceive to be printing money, even though you haven't done the research to fully appreciate how hard it was to get to where it is currently
3) Set up shop, wait for customers to pile in. All while having little experience in operating a P&L, negotiating with vendors, getting licenses/credentials, legal, HR, Finance, customer service, etc.
4)...
5)...
6) Profit

Am I doing this right?

I've been away from the TD lately. Was there a merger between the MB and the OT while I was gone?

Not sure, this sure does have the feel of a troll.

I've worked with/mentored guys that spent years of their life building small businesses, working nights and weekends, and countless meetings with potential investors just to barely scrape enough money to get by.

This guy comes in here and asks for advice when he can just get millions donated from his daddy's friends...

and we're expected to take him seriously. nah, pass.

If getting millions from my "daddy's" friends was garunteed I wouldn't have asked for the advice. I still have to provide them with a solid plan and pitch it but yes I am fortunate enough to have these connections and family that could help.

Haha I'm not gonna tell what it is, even though it would help y'all understand why it's so easy to run and why I know I can handle it.

It's very simple. All that is needed is land with a building big enough building. After that you can pretty much sit back and let the rest happen( which is what the current competition is doing) for what I want though, the primo location and bigger building, I would have to be a bit more aggressive and offer some different sevices but nothing impossible.

Again it is this easy but the reason it doesn't exist in this scale is because of lack of money.

I think we can all agree a top golf would be successful in LA somewhere between BR and NOLA and people have been saying it for years. But the reason it hasn't come yet is down to money. Same situation for my idea. I just need a bunch of money. Like I said before I may have gotten to excited at first but I want to act fast because it will eventually come to the area

Make sure to include that in the BP. No doubt investors will want to know that, on top of it being fail proof, it also requires minimum effort. They will be begging to throw the millions of dollars at you.

Well that is the plan. If I pitch it right and present it well enough to show how easy it will be I should be able to get them to buy in.

ignorance really is bliss.

So is this a franchise or something you'd be starting from the ground up?

Ground up. The thing is it could be be franchised but there really is no point in paying or creating a franchise. For example there are 4 companies providing this service here in Oklahoma. Two are owned by the same guy and use the same name . The other two offer the exact same service but owned by different individuals. Either of those two owners could have looked to the original guy to franchise but like I said it makes no since to purchase a franchise when you could do it by your self.

But at the same time the guy who owns two expanded into another city but used the same name and business model.

Which is what I was hoping to do as well.

Can I ask how old you are? You type like a 13 year old kid on aol instant messenger fishing for nudes in a chat room.

I'd just like to echo what others have said. Starting your own business is a 24/7 job. I've been working every weekend and holiday for 3 years on my business in some capacity and am just now starting to break through and see some big time growth and profit, and the future is very bright. However to go into it thinking it's going to be that easy is setting yourself and your daddy's friends up for a colossal failure. I think we're all being trolled.

I'm having a hard time believing that someone as naive and immature as this guy has multiple family friends worth millions. Smart people, especially ones who are wealthy, tend not to associate themselves with people who reflect poorly on themselves.

It's been a very well played 4 page troll job though.
