Maybe. Firing Asherman was a long time coming, but the new CEO was just promoted from within, so will there be any real changes? I've got some shares from the ESPP, but I'm upside-down at this point, even with the discount, so I'll just be watching and hoping for a turn-around or for a well-run company to buy them out.

not sure what to say. CB&I is trying to sell off a good bit of what is left of the old shaw. the deal is suppose to be down in june. So will CB&I or the new company have the better deal....time will tell.

Almost bought yesterday when I noticed they signed a couple new projects. Didn't pull the trigger. Up 35% today. Looks like a court ruling in their favor. I will jump in once it pulls back. Congrats to you.

I have shares as well from the employee purchase program. I'm down a good bit at this point after the big drop. The issue for me is, I was hoping it would not jump until after they buy our stock for the quarter.

Yeah, I almost bumped this yesterday. It is really tanking now - $450M loss for Q2 and suspended their dividend. Down from 16.33 to 11.25 since close yesterday. Hope OP got out in time.

Yep, in the same boat, but not as bad as some co-workers.

They closed the sell of capital services for about 700 million. With out that income the Q2 loss reported would have been over a billion.

It has the potential to get worse. They're basically on the brink of defaulting on their debt and are being forced to sell a highly profitable segment to avoid it. If that deal falls through - which wouldn't be unheard of based on the litigation resulting from their Westinghouse sale - it could be catastrophic.
