My wife has one. She loves it but i think it has some quality issues on the inside (cheap plastics, 3rd row is flimsy etc). Have you tried searching the dealers in Houston? They might have better prices than local since they have more volume. Also try true car or usaa and costco(if members) their auto buying services are pretty good.

Best price on a Mitsubishi? They cheap as dirt already, but if I were you, I would find the color and package you want and see what dealers have them and make a few cals, about availability & pricing

Any suggestions on dealers with the best prices on them?

Do you belong to a credit union that has a buying service? If so, I've found that to be a good resource, at least for pricing, if not actual buying.

This is off subject and a ramble but hoping someone has a good insight for my vague question.

I was interested in buying the cheapest new 4 door full size truck as possible (not Dodge). With GM trucks I prefer leather and with the Fords im okay with the XLT. What prices are expected on these? For example when Chevy says "20% off" are they still negotiating on top of that or firm? Is the new Ford a softer ride than the past?

Also I have a credit union that seems to knock off Chevy pricing.

So for comparison what would I pay for a 2016 Ford XLT vs a Chevy Silverado LT with leather?

Thanks!

email every dealer in Houston with what you want and let them know you are ready to buy.

With mine, you just input the brand, model, year (new or used), etc. of the desired vehicle on their website. The results will be the vehicles from the dealers that participate in the service. As I recall, you can also input a search area/radius. I happened across it when I was looking for financing options a couple of years ago. I didn't find the vehicle that I wanted, but I did get a great deal on financing.

Sorry, I don't. I'm in a different state.

Better car prices in Houston. Don't you sell cars? You should know this if so.

Im in the industry. But, I've always known this to be a bit un-true. Of course, every manufacture is different. On Hondas...Houston is slightly higher at some dealers. Of course they are volume driven stores, but they do not get the volume you would think.

For the most part, and notice i said for the most part, Texas, specifically Houston and Dallas, as well as Miami Florida are the cheapest vehicle markets.

Note taken. My experience with dealing with dealers from Texas to Mississippi shows there is some truth to that. I would say mostly on the Ford, GMC, Chevy and Dodge brands. Different markets receive better incentives when it comes to some brands. Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Kia are usually pretty close from Cali To Florida. It also all comes down to how aggressive the dealer wants to be. If your pre-owned lots are selling 200+ cars a month, and you own multiple brands, taking a few hits every month on the new car side is not a big deal.

Also, sometimes depends if the management team had a few drinks the night before...
