uh oh Teddy... being called out.

I don't got time to type out every god damn thing!

FWIW to those reading: I use Chase, Amex SPG, and arrival. I have enough spend to justify all three, but a lot of people may be better off with Arrival and one of the others.

Just sayin'. The new guy pretty much said you don't know what you're talking about.

Just putting the board on notice that they might need to get their CC information elsewhere.

Ya, I omitted those benefits because I saw that post just spiraling into the most confusing gibberish ever, when all I wanted to do was make a point.

How about you start picking up the slack around here and whack a moling some of the nonsense credit score advice that pops up around here so I can enjoy a beer from time to time?

PS: My fiancee has relented that once some things are hammered out, I can take a trip by myself some where "shitty" she doesn't want to go, as long as its after the wedding, as she fears I may die traveling. She "prefers" being a widow So maybe I'll have an interesting story in the next year or so.

I would...but uh...uh. You're really good at it. I try to answer here and there.

I've gotten the same line from my wife and she doesn't have the same amount of vacation time I do. It's hard picking somewhere "shitty'. I will have to sell the trip as a guys trip like a Sporting event(snowboarding, scuba diving) or going to a sporting event(World cup would've been cool).

My guess is around this time next year I still won't have a shitty trip lined up .

About to book my New Zealand, French Polynesia trip though. About time to see some of the obsessive research pay off, but according to the OT my time isn't valuable

People who don't know, criticize.

That's going to be an awesome trip. You're gonna have to post pics in the massive credit thread which can become the points brag thread.

"Shitty" is tough. In my case, it has to be sufficiently third world that doesn't have something my fiancee wants to see. We did India, and she has no desire to go back, but I do, so I may do that, or Burma or something. Basically every other country is out because she actually wants to go to most of these places too, and I don't want to do Europe since it will always be there unless Putin takes it over.

full disclosure. think i am going to apply for both the freedom and saphire. as a current chase customer i think this will be a good learning step for me. i will venture out further after round 1.

appreciate the insight from everyone, even if they were competing opinions.
