This is what I tell my little cousins to go into if they can tolerate the math. Personally I would have been miserable in any type of engineering. Even though I am happy with my job now, I would probably go to dental school if I did it again.

I wouldn't want to be engineer for forever so I would worry about the MBA, but I still wouldn't have gone that route anyway.

Shoot I went the mechanical engineering route and looking back I still wish I would have went petroleum.

Certainly not true for financial/external audit. Pretty much if you aren't an accounting major who can prove they are CPA ready you aren't going to get hired.

For internal audit if you aren't an accounting, finance or information systems major you aren't going to get hired. Even when internal audit was at its peak from 2002-2008 very few outside those three majors were going to get picked up for internships or FT jobs even if they did the LSU CIA program.
