A former walk-on who runs angry, has good hands, knows the playbook inside and out, and can pick up blitzing linebackers well! Most importantly, he bleeds purple and gold!

I can handle this. He is sure handed gets the tough yards and catches the ball out of the backfield.

No doubt! No break away speed but he has everything else you could want.

The line should improve this year but honestly, the run blocking and design wasn’t stellar last year. He did a fantastic job

Hold on just a minute! Are you trying to tell me Josh Williams used to be a walk on? You would think the media would talk about that

“Former walk-on to the team that has since earned a scholarship … Enters fourth year with the Tigers in 2022 … Has worked his way from a scout team player to seeing significant playing time as part of LSU’s running back rotation … Joined the team as a walk-on in 2019 and was awarded a scholarship after preseason camp in 2020 …Turned down offers to some smaller Division I schools to attend LSU, a team that he was a huge fan of growing up.”

Is John emery not coming back?

He was an important part of that Arkansas win.

He wasn't a typical walkon. He had legit D-1 talent but he was hard to evaluate because he played at a small private school.

this is how we used to operate with a few of these workhorses, never the flashy ones but gritty guys like Blue, Hillard, Hill, Ware etc
