First play should've been a HB stretch

flip-side of that is that the defense recognizes immediately that it's a run. No play-action.

Just go look up Jeremy Hill highlights. You should notice that every play is a two TE I formation toss dive. Since that is the only formation LSU runs out of and the toss dive is the only run play they use.

Can you show us a time when running it led to a fumble?

Or a time when running it definitively created a negative situation?

It opens future plays up and wears down a defense.

Buga, Jeremy Hill, and others have gained a thousand yards plus per season running that play for LSU.
We ran it out of a completely different formation Saturday night on the first play, but I guess nobody noticed that.

I like when the idiots get burned on here. It is something I have thought all along, people dont watch the fricking games. They read one thing on TD and run with it as a fact.

I'd like to know who was bitching on the toss dive when Fournette took it 89 yards for a touchdown in the bowl game? How about the short-side option when Keiland embarrassed Beamer Ball in 2007? shite works. Just because you don't like it/understand it, doesn't make it a thing. It just means you need to learn a little more about the game.

You mean, it makes defenses think a little bit more on toss plays? Nooooooooo way.

Yep, if you ran wide side on every play, you'd make it easier to key on it. Same thing with this. If you took every toss outside, the defense will key on that and find it much easier to stop.
