Excluding championship stuff because that's fairly obvious

1997 after Alabama beat the ever living piss out of us 28-2, we needed to win the Sunday game to win the west. After that arse beating, we came out and won a close game, 6-5 I believe, in Tuscaloosa to win the west.

2008 in at Kentucky, the team was sputtering along, then big Matt Clark capped off a comeback with a go ahead HR in the 9th that kickstarted that memorable run.

Just 2 off the top of my head

The back to back to back home runs against UC Irvine in the last weekend at the old box.

12-2 & 12-2 sweep of ULL in the regionals was especially with all of the trash talking that was going on.

I believe Brian Wilson when the distance in game2

That's a good one. Da Box was a fricking insane asylum at that point.

I'll also add true freshman Lane Mestepey going 10 inning in game 1 of the 2001 super regional against a great Tulane team. Then true frosh Brian Wilson closing it out.

Game 2 vs UCI in the Super Regionals the last weekend in old Alex Box. I believe we were down 7-4 and came back in the top of the 9th then shut them down in the bottom. I can remember how even though we were down, the crowd could just feel like there was something special left in our team and our old Stadium, then the magic happened!

Just rewatched the videos of this a few days ago. It still gives me chills.

It's tough to beat Morris' 96 cws homerun.
Cresse's 9th inning hit against stanford.

Sometime in the late 90's, myself and four friends (we must have been 14 at the time) went to god knows what game. LSU was doing it's promotional "If you batter hits a grand slam in the 6th inning, you win $10,000 from powerade." The game was ho-hum so we looked for something else to do. We found a guy sitting one section over and he was dressed in a blue tank top and had long Ted Nugent flowing hair. He looked a little drunk, but could have been stone cold sober and he was just that kind of guy. Anyway, we were rolling with redneck jokes on his behalf. But, I'll be damned if his program number didn't match the same player who crushed a grand slam and SOB won a $10k. That man was screaming from the time he left the top row of the bleachers all the way to the press box. Shear amazement at those events.

How about the walk-off grand slam vs Tenn? May have been 97 or 98.

LSU vs UC Irvine

Trailing at the end of the game and making one of the greatest comebacks I've ver witnessed as well as my best LSU baseball memory (for games I was at)

Good ones so far, that Game 2 UCI game felt like we were so much further down than 3 going into the 9th. That 1 inning against Ga Tech was pretty insane in that regional.

That Super Regional we lost to Tulane in Skip's last year was heart stopping, especially that game 1 where Mestepay pitched his heart out.

Loved that Kentucky sweep to begin the long streak with Matt Clarks bomb.

Also, wanted to add the world series in 2008 battling North Carolina. When Clark hit that game tying homer, I was going apeshit.

Just winning a game against South Carolina in 2007 felt great.

Shane Youman keeping the opposition close in alot of those games in the late 90s was great.

I'll also add Sean Ochinko hitting that game winning homer against Kentucky in (2007 I think) was great...until they reversed the call.

Also, the feeling after winning UCI game 3, knowing it was the last game at the old box, and how much that team accomplished compared to where they were a year before...was amazing. Not much pitching talent, but they had heart.

having to go to the phone bank to call work at the Georgia Tech game to tell them I would be late because our half of that inning took ONE HOUR

the absolute tension vs a&m (the mestepay game). You could feel it. Then we get the sac fly? and the the Harris grand slam

UCI goes without saying. no one wanted to leave there

The "SEA" "HAWKS" chants enveloping the stadium as UNCW was playing Tulane in the regionals, and UNCW being given a non-victory lap

i really miss the old 6 team regionals. we were were teens youd get to the stadium at 8am, watch baseball till midnight, and do it 2-3 more days. If i remember if would be like 14-15 games, just tons of fun

Definitely game 2 of the UCI supers. The old ballpark had some magic in it that afternoon. It was incredible. Game 3 was awesome as well. There was no way LSU was losing that game.

That was a whole lot of fun also.

I was there..sitting down the left field line. What a rollercoaster. Clark ties the game and we're jumping and screaming...then the ball sails over the left field wall for a grand slam.

Waited through a few rain delays for that heartbreaker.

Don't forget those great defensive moments:

The first one that always comes to my mind is the triple play vs Vandy in the SEC Tourney (year??? 2000ish).

Mahtook hitting the game winner vs Texas in game 1 of the 2009 CWS. He was cramping terribly and looked dead, got an iv and kept going. That was a great team.

How about the Baylor super regional in either 02 or 03? Baylor wins game 1 and gets ahead in game 2. We battle back with Jason Determann pitching his arse off and win

Then beat their arse 20-5 in game 3...classic LSU baseball right there
