Did you think they were the worst team in the SEC?

Talent-wise? Absolutely. We are slow and can't shoot a mid range jump shot consistently.

Safe to say, the surprise player this year is Derenbecker. He's been one of the few players that's stepped up since Turner went down.

Since his 17 pts at Rice, he's had games of 15, 12, and 14 pts today

You can't bring logic and commonsense and big picture observations into the world of instant gratification and people who make idiotic pronouncements based upon one game.

I'm sorry you dont know what 'Marshall law' is.

It is being used here on the Rant as a colloquial expression because there is an abscense of order on the bball team. In other word's since the coach can't do shite to stop us from getting pummelled, tell the players to SCARp the playbook, and just do SOMETHING to score!

there is no excuse in the big book of LSU basketball excuses that can justify this team being this bad. There just isnt.

Tough schedule wasn't it especially against those Louisiana powerhouses sister programs. Good thing we did not play Tulane this year.

You were dreaming if you expected anything good this year or some magical turnaround. We lost a lot over the last few years, experience and upperclassment included.

Not to mention TJ didn't take over clean program, thanks to our homie Brady and crew. Maybe that had something to do with the success we saw back then...hmmmm.

We have started almost from the ground up all over again and we are feeling the affects.

you sound like obama still blaming the present on the past and the predecessor- at what point does the current coach become responsible?

TJ said today what we are seeing is his fault. I admire him for owning up to it. That is step one

What's so hard to understand

2@1/2 seasons into a BB coaches tour of duty one doesn't like to see back to back performances as we had against Kentucky and Miss.

That being said, we know what the TJ game plan is and we all should have known it was gonna take a while to see more positive results using that type game plan.

We just need to keep the faith cause at this stage, we have no other choice.

We had TASMIN frickING MITCHELL last year. If we had Tasmin on this team, we'd be in the NCAA tournament.

you gave up seats before last season??? as in, we had just won a conference championship,

With someone else's players. Knowing kids were being booted and he was recruiting shite JUST LIKE BRADY!
Had it not been for the one OBVIOUS CTII We wouldn't have won shite in the last 10 years.
So...You think you understand what has been going on with the program since the mid 90's, BUT you don't know shite. Mr Gill is probably turing over in his grave right about now.

I do not buy the young excuse. Each year is getting worse. He did not bring in the necessary talent. Never should lose to Ole Piss by 30 at home. Never!

TJ has a serious problem when it comes to recruiting.
If he was ever going to bring in some big guns, it should have been after his 1st year when he won the SEC. He looked good and so did LSU. Since that time, we look like we are sinking deeper into a hole.

Yes I did not like Brady either. Didn't like no coach since Dale FWIW.

How much did you like Dale is first 4 or 5 years with the program?

You are right, 3-13 and 4-12 were so much better.

But Trent's team will be better than 2-14 this year.
So how did Daddy Dale do his first 5 years at LSU?
