I don't blame them. I'd be pissed too if I lived in Mexico.

My father-in-law who is from Louisiana was at my house when LSU and Rice were playing the Super. ESPN was showing some typical Tiger fans in the stands holding wearing Mardi Gras beads and holding "Geaux Tigers" signs. Just to piss him off I asked him what "Go-X Tigers" meant. He proceeded to tell me in a very smug tone that "Geaux" is the French word for "Go". The funny thing was is actually believed it.

The difference in the fans is that the locals in Omaha actually like LSU fans and pull for them whenever they play. Now I can see why, not much to choose from.

There's some bad ones in every fan base, and unfortunately the good fans usually suffer for the bad. I won't resort to name calling at this time, let Renaudo do the talking for me tonight!!!

Omaha loves LSU. See previous posts about the class your fans show both at the games and outside Rosenblatt. I'd bet 80% of the locals at the games are cheering for LSU. You are very gracious guests in Omaha and we love having you visit each year!

Having been a resident of Louisiana for most of my life and having spent three years post-Katrina in Houston (League City), I can honestly say that I agree with most of what those Texas people were saying.(Except the Fricke L.S.U. BS)

Funny Shite, but true!

You could probably say the same stuff about most of the S.E.C. fan bases, except maybe Vanderbilt. Maybe not quite as bad at some S.E.C. schools/states as others, but OMG, it's major "Deliverance" Country all over the South, with La, Ms and Al fighting it out for number one in the Neanderneck state rankings......

To me Texas fans remind me of Ole Miss fans as they are both very Conceited. Well at least Texas fans have had something to be conceited about in the last 20 years though

Nope, just really frustrated this year with the fans from the other teams. LSU fans are the best, and if you don't believe me, look at the number of locals wearing LSU shirts tonight!

Don't let a bunch of classless pieces of shite taint your opinion of texas people. I'm met some good ones.

However, most longhorn fans are douches...as we now know.
