I wasn't thrilled at first either but some of y'all are just ridiculous. I am going full tilt the other way. We were never getting Herman anyway. And Fisher and the rest of the prospects aren't all that anyways so there. LET'S GO COACH O AND LETS TURN THAT BINDER PLAN INTO SOME NC'S!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed man. He wasn't my first choice but we have got to get behind the man. He's our coach. Recruits and other teams read this board Bc it's free. People are acting like millennials with all the "I didn't get my way" protests.

Herman and Fisher were never going to be Tigers.
One played with the idea two straight seasons, but that didn't pan out either time, probably a flirt never a date type. The other flirted heavy this year, but in the end chose to hold out for a different suitor. Just a tease, IMO.
O wanted LSU and has done an amazing job as interim HC. I was glad we chose him, and more glad once I heard more of the back stories on F&H.

I don't like the hire but will get behind and support O. But remember this is a message board where people voice their opinions. You voiced your opinion and probably pissed a bunch of them off with what you said. So you in turn must live with their opinion also.

This is exactly what this board is, a bunch of chicken little dip shits that have no informal opinion of their own. They just come to get upvotes and agree with the negativity that's most popular. It's pathetic and it has made me root for O even though I didn't really agree with it and think we could have done better, I'm not going to agree with these morons for the sake of popularity on the rant. Effe em ALL!!

The way that I see it... he earned his chance for consideration and nailed the interview then got the job.
He has very valid strengths(Recruiting and motivational) and is willing to adapt and work hard at his new job.
The biggest problem that most of these posters have is his voice and demeanor. I see where they are coming from but this is FB and that just might bot matter but it is a gamble. He will be hell on teleconferences though.
I am also starting to think that some of these threads are being started by SEC rival troll alters. They just act like such biatches. Worse than Hillary lovers after the election.

I'm not excited about the hire. But Orgeron didn't hire himself. If anyone doesn't like the hire, blaming the employee and not the employer is retarded

All things considered, I'm glad Saturday played out like it did. I don't even think Herman would have given us a courtesy interview and we would have been left hanging.
My only beef in this whole thing is I think Aleva took the lazy way out and didn't conduct an extensive search. Nothing against O, you can't fault a man for chasing his dream job, but Aleva could have extended his search in two months a little further than 300 miles in each direction.
