The off-season attrition is hurting right now. The question really is whether that would have happened with a different coach.

Who other than Teuhma? Name names. Which player that left THIS off-season are we missing? There's only one that could even remotely be considered and even he is a huge stretch.

its a trend with o. do you remember LF playing after a pre game scuffle last year too?

I want o to succeed, because I want LSU to succeed. But he pretty much lost me during that game. That pre-game scuffle got everyone's emotions sky high and when he allowed an injured Fournette to play, he showed absolutely no leadership abilities.

In my opinion that lack of leadership has reared it's ugly head since the end of last season. Players leaving the program, multiple suspensions and allowing another injured player to compete in the Syracuse game is troublesome.

I expect LSU to win tonight (although I expected to be 5-0 going into the Florida game) but after that, things could get ugly fast.

you have no idea what youre talking about. our oline itself has 7 4 star players on our squad. thats almost half as much as miss st. entire team.
there are literally dozens of programs with less oline talent that field decent olines.
i wont even mention all he 4star dline man we have. our oline and dline jave as many 4 star players as miss st's entire roster.

keep making excuses for shite coaching.

the sad part was watching a portion of our fan base apply zero blame to O. its amazing how all of the sudden our players not being focused and looking lost on critical plays isnt on the head coach

you mean like people paid to evaluate talent?

people paid to evaluate talent say lsu is one of the 10 most talented teams in cfb.

keep equating shite coaching to not talented. we have probably have 4 tines the future nfl players that miss state has.

who should i believe?

people that get paid to evaluate talent and have access to all 22 film or some dumbass on message board getting his opinion from a tv broadcast or worse inside the stadium?

Not on our lines, which is my point. I don't care how many stars they have, they have been manhandled by teams that have weak lines. That is not coaching, it's not conditioning, it's not strength. It's a lack of talent and depth.

Except we've put more players in the NFL so there goes that opinion of yours too.

Yeah, I know. Since September 25th of 2016, anything bad that has happened is the assistant coaches or players fault. Orgeron is bulletproof to some of the fans.

Damndest thing.

Maybe not at this point. I think most believe it would be better at the END of the season with a better level of coaching.

The record so far is not what concerns people. It's the perception of how we've played so far and knowing that won't cut it in SEC schedule. That's what everyone is nervous about.

we most definitely without question have more dline talent than MSU oline talent

our oline and dline have more talent than msu's entire team.

Mississippi state has 1 top 25 class(18th) since 2013.

your attempt to remove blame from O just proves you dont understand football

I agree. Absolutely.

So just say Teuhuma leaving hurt us.

CheeriOs point to all the guys we lost as an excuse.

O bashers point to all the guys O "ran off" as O can't run a program.

Be specific, people!

yep. before september 25th 2016,any dumbass could win 10 games at lsu, we had as much talent as any team in cfb(INCLUDING BAMA), miles was the only thing holding lsu back from winning titles.

bullshite. Yes, sometimes a highly ranked player doesn't pan out but the odds of getting 11 or 12 highly ranked players on the same team that don't pan out is almost impossible. But, for the sake of argument. Let's say you are correct. We have a bunch of highly rated terrible players on our lines. Who was our recruiting coordinator when these players were recruited? Because if a recruiting coordinator recruited that many bust players, HE is the problem.

I'm not saying that our problems are ALL the fault of Ed O. They aren't. It's a combination of things of which he is a major contributing factor.
