I love watching Fournette, Magee and Hilliard play but I have also been super impressed with Williams. I love the way he plays.
And yes, I think Fournette makes it

I wouldn't call Arkansas' defense "stout".
They've looked much improved so far. Not as good as Ole Miss though, and we ran the ball right at them.

Barring injury I think he will get it...The blockers have finally picked up the zone scheme and he is seeing the field better and running less upright.
Next year the backfield should be stout. I was worried about the OL next year as LSU will lose Collins,Porter, Washington,Hoko, possibly Hawkins and probably Alexander. Several of Dodd, Boutte, Brumfield, Clapp, Malone, and Demond will have to step up next year but I feel better because they are all learning under Grimes the new zone scheme this year which even Mawae said was the way to go.
Remember Freeze said at halftime, they hadn't faced a physical OL like that so far. They played Bama. Also look at the Bama/UT game rushing yards and carries. I think it will make an LSU fan happy.
Apparently, Bamas OL is struggling except when they play TAM.

I can't remember the last time we had only true freshmen/sophomores on the RB depth chart and the scary thing is it will probably be the best backfield we've ever had.
2007 if you'll stipulate that Hester was a FB.

A senior that led the team with over a thousand yards rushing almost all coming from the RB position....no, not even close.

It will also be interesting to see an all underclassmen backfield. I can't remember the last time we had only true freshmen/sophomores on the RB depth chart and the scary thing is it will probably be the best backfield we've ever had.
If I remember right back in 97'
So - Kevin Faulk
Fr - Rondell Mealey
Fr - Cecil Collins
So - (FB) Kendell Cleveland
That's an underclassman squad
