WVU's Speed

I honestly don't know much about their program this year. Oregon claimed they could handle our size with their "superior" speed. I would be willing to bet we are bigger than WVU, so are they making similar claims? If not, what do they think they have over us?

We probably are bigger stronger and faster across the board, but so was USC when they played Stanford.
Lucky for them the game isn't played on paper. WVU is amped for this game, hopefully we sustain nice long drives and take their crowd out of it.

They basically believe they are different than our other 3 opponents thus far because in addition to being "fast", they throw the ball 75% of the time. While this is true, I don't know that it changes the outcome of the game.

I'm glad we're confident, but we're a couple of turnovers away from losing this game. I'm not saying we lose- I'm just saying we're not going to play lights out week in and week out. If we turn it over, they could beat our butts.

They have a lot of speed. For some reason people think it has a huge impact on LSU when we play teams with speed (Oregon and WVU). We face teams loaded with speed every week as do all sec teams. All these OOC teams who think their speed will be a factor don't realize they are use to playing slower teams and they are the ones that are more surprised and affected by our speed. IMO

I'm not hating on you at all, but ever single game played in football (pro-high school) is a few turnovers away from losing the game. Because of our sytle & playcalling, unless we are fumbling, we basically limit ourselves on turnovers. IMO, the only way we lose the game is by falling behind early and not being able to catch up. But it seemed like every time our opponents have scored this year, we have marched down and scored ourselves. So maybe we just beat the hell out of them...

Is WVU better than LSU? No way
Should WVU beat LSU? No way
Can WVU beat LSU? Hell Yes
Just comes down to: If LSU plays up to potential they win by 10-14 if they do not they will be in for a dog fight or lose.
