Great game. Im sure you all could easily run the tables from here on out. Dont think we will face another QB or set of receivers from here on out that will be as good as what you had last night. Good luck rest of the way and as I wished Oregon fans I do the same for West Virginia that you go undefeated from here on out.

Your fanbase really showed up both for GameDay and gametime. It's not Tiger Stadium but you guys had an awesome atmosphere. Your team has a great passing attack and will win a bunch of games.

Your coach is an a-hole !

Best of luck the rest of the season. Hope you win out.

Ignore the haters and trust me when I say a large majority of fans of lsu would love to see wvu come to the sec. The wvu coach is a bit of a dick and really needs to wear a hat to cover that mess up on his head, but have to say I think he's a heck of an offensive coach, and who says you can't be a dick and a good coach just look at saban. The atmosphere at wvu was unmatched compared to any other nonconference game I've been to also. Wvu has many things to be proud of about their university.

Keep showing your class pal! By the way - even if you wear depends so you can avoid actually going to the bathroom to make 17,000 posts - you might have some general manners.

to the WV fan ignore garden variety trash and their inane posts like this "winner".

I see, you know him personally to make such an absurd inference. It's amazing how many stupid things are said on this site.

The OP comes in here to make a nice comment and gets slammed by guys with nothing better to do than play with their mouse and/or gerbil.

You do realize that the crowd booed our players who were injured on offense and special teams plays, right? Because that had so much to do with slowing down your offense. That was classlessness and football ignorance rolled into one.

Like I said in an earlier post, as hostile as Tiger Stadium is, we cheer for injured players when they walk off the field. If the band starts to play and the drum major is informed of an injury, they immediately stop and wait until he is off the field before resuming. You will find similar behavior throughout the SEC, as well. This just isn't how things are done in the SEC.

It's no mystery where the lack of class comes from. What's with this modern era of blowhard coaches who don't know the first thing about sportsmanship? They are representing a university. I believe it can be partially rooted in Saban.

You do realize that LSU fans began booing our injuries later on as a result. So let's not all climb up on our high horses just yet.

Faking injuries?

If we were trying to slow the game down by faking don't you think we would have instructed DIFFERENT players to take turns with injuries?

How about the real story? The kid got injuried but returned to play & then tweeked the injury again. Or that the pace of the offense adn the fact that we let WV line double team our down linemen (strategy allows LB's and backs to outnumber receivers)just wore him down and led to issues?
BTW, Oregon runs plays at a much faster pace than WV with a QB who can haul arse and we didn't fake any injuries with them!!! Why would we fake against WV? Doesn't make sense.

Tell your butt-hurt fans that this year you got beat by one of the best teams in the land by simply lining up and whipping some Mountain butt! And we had a pretty good game plan, as I look at it in retrospect. I don't like giving up 500 yards but it definetly worked.

Geno Smith is a very good passing QB and your RB and WR's are legit. You have a good team but I think Dana is a little over the top. I know he was trying to inspire the players against "the giant" (only becuase we were ranked #2)but his antics on the sideline were not very appealing as a fan and the father of a college athlete. I don't think I would want my kid playing for him if he acts taht way all the time.

Here's the thing, I respect that you've arrived at that conclusion, it seems fair to me and i understand where you're coming from. But I find it a bit hypocritical that some (not you b/c I don't know your feelings on the subject) Tiger fans being highly upset over Dana's behavior while simultaneously loving Mathieu's. I don't buy the whole "he's a college kid, and the other one is an adult" thing. I just don't think you can have one with out the other IMO.

Is TM the head coach?

I was at the game and can tell you that I have not had a better time with an opponent. You guys (almost 90% of you) were classy, honest, giving, caring. I was blown away with the hospitality and will be back to Tygart Lake State Park for some hiking and kayaking in the summer.

Good luck to your program, you have some great times ahead.

This. I think LSU fans can appreciate a passionate coach. It's one thing I love about college sports. It IS more refreshing that a sweater vest, or a "weekend at Bernie's" coach propped up in the press box with no pulse. However, cursing 20 year old kids playing their hearts out? Zero class. Zero.
