Wright Thopmson is fantastic. Dude can paint a picture with words. We're lucky to have Miles and will probably never fully appreciate him.

That dude in person is so chill and intelligent.

I loved meeting him because I'm a Wright fanboy, but I thought he was a little stuck on himself. Maybe he held it against me, that the first thing I said to him was "are you trying to look like Wright Thompson for Halloween?"

He said "yeah," then "big leagued" me.

I agree with this. Until clm can beat NS, he will have open wounds that do not heal. The team will have difficulty winning the SEC West let alone the SEC.

That said, clm and LSU got jobbed big time by the CFB ptbs. No way 'bama should have been in that game. How can any of those talking head pundits explain that the game of the century a couple of months earlier did not matter. It was a corrupt beauty contest and the gumps were the predetermined winners if the ptb had anything to say about it. clm was unlucky. He should have had his second NC win or at least played Okie state for it.

His upright character in this case did him no favors when he said he would be honored to play them again. Are you kidding me? Honored to have to beat them twice in one season to be declared champs while the gumps win one and claim all the chips. That is a misplaced sense of honor so far as I can see it.

Turns out, as he barrels through campus, he's not texting, just looking for a phone number, which he finds and dials. One of the beat reporters, whose wife, after a devastating miscarriage, just had their first child. "Way to go! Way to go! Way to go!" Miles shouts, who then asks about weight and length. "That is awesome. Congratulations. Very happy for you. Please tell your wife the same. Couldn't be happier. I can't wait to meet her."

Man, that's just the kinda guy he is.
