a good candidate for LSU's Athletic Director. The guy was an amazing recruiter and I feel like he would make good decisions as an AD. Joe Alleva is a huge candy arse that has put LSU athletics on a downward spiral. As far as the CEO hire I cannot say I am that mad. From what I have read there is no buyout clause in his contract so if he is a bust it will not cost a fortune to buy him out. I feel as if CEO is better than he was at Ole Miss, he admits that he had his fingers in everything at Ole miss and that he want to let his assistants coach. If he hires a good OC i think LSU and CEO wont be as bad as everyone is cutting it out to be. Just think if Herman would have came to LSU and folded under the pressure and our fanbase broke out the pitch forks how much of a financial crisis it would be after just buying out Miles.

Absolutely. Miles' record of hiring coaches is vastly greater than Alleva's. Not even close.

Miles would be an excellent AD. Moving a successful head coach in as AD proved hugely successful with Coach Bertman. We should do this again with Miles.

All coaches have mis fires, Saban with Applewhite and Steele. Miles has assembled one of the best college football staffs in College Football. If you are Miles hater all you can see is Cameron and Peveto.

What kind of football coach do you think he would hire? What kind of philosophy would he be looking for?

Yea Bertman hired Smoke Laval, and hired Les Miles over Jimbo and Petrino.
Miles would be a horrible AD He couldnt even run the football program at the end and now you want him to run the whole Athletic Department.

Was a good coach when Leslie hired him. Where y'all in a coma for all of 2013?

yea an offense that finished 35th in the country, lost 3 games and only scored 17 on Bama and 24 on a depleted Ole Miss with 2 of the best receivers in the NFL, a starting NFL RB and a former NFL starting Qb. It was awesome

lol, he got fired from the Ravens, and then they went on to win the superbowl without him. I'd say he was not a "good coach" when Leslie hired him

While I appreciate your topic, it seems that it has turned into a slam les fest. I 4 1 am grateful for what he brought to us, now....AD, not sure about that ..SKIP WAS A CLASS ACT. But trying to replicate that with miles may be hard. But note: even in comments he still refers to team as "us", so never count him out.

Someone with his same offensive philosophy, so Will Muschamp would be the perfect choice for him.

Just a joke so don't get bent out of shape.
