1969, my freshman year, we lost to Ole MIss and Archie manning in Jaxckson 23-26. It was our only loss that year. Had we not lost that game, we would have played Texass for the NC in Cotton Bowl. We would have won it too.

Tiger Stadium in the rain. Left a wedding to drive back to Baton Rouge for this disaster. Miserable weather and game. Buzz killer.
Lost two (2) regular season games that year - Miami (Ohio) and Ole Piss. Washed out in the Sugar Bowl to the Cornshuckers.

2011 when LSU baseball had a very promising sweep of CSF then got swept by Florida and completely fell apart missing even the SEC post season.

Loosing the Chic-Fil-A Bowl and walking out with Clemson fans....
Loosing to Bama in 2012 probably hurt more than the title. We had it, and I wanted it more than ever.

some of the blowouts in 08 sucked but I wasn't at LSU yet lived minuets from campus though.

One of them.....Ole Miss in BR in 1997 I think right after we had beaten #1 Florida. Went from the high of the highs to the pit of despair. On top of that I had an Ole Miss punk sitting near me that screamed go Rebels the whole game. And while that is within the bounds of not being an a-hole it punched a hole in my soul every time he yelled it and it made me confront him in front of my wife. Damn he.

This was Game Day's first trip to Baton Rouge. Game Day set up at the Assembly Center. It was way better than the Fairgrounds location. Game Day crowd was great. Some fans threw crap at Corso when he picked Bama.
Game started. Shaun Alexander runs for 250+ on us. Nobody had ever heard of him before this game. I think he started the season as Bama's 3rd string RB.

LSU football was already in a slump and had several losing seasons in a row, and then 1992 happened (2-9). That was my freshman year. "Highlights" of the season (or should I say lowlights) - losing to Colorado State for homecoming game and Ole Miss beating the absolute dogshit out of us. Only SEC team LSU beat that year was Mississippi State (go figure).
