what you have to understand about the rock is that it was a pioneer. Now there are many teams that use some kind of thing that they slap to get pumped. Maryland has a turtle, Vt has some kinda lunchbox and someone else has a huge rock who I am forgetting at the moment(maybe Montana). All of these copied the Hill and the Rock.
