Will take 11-1 for sure, but would hate losing to old miss!

besides the offensive line part the rest seems fairly reasonable... fournette will be "contained" if we dont have a qb who can complete 10 passes a game..so would adrian peterson

We had the worst QB play since 2002, with musical chair RBs, and an OL adjusting to a new blocking scheme, and he still broke the LSU freshman rushing record.

"Containing" him a year after OL transition, a more talented QB, him starting from day one with experience, and finally adding misdirection in the run game, must mean 1300 yards at 6 a pop with 15 TDs. That's about as best you'll do trying to contain him this year.

P.S. He can't be contained.

IIRC somebody the other day posted about how McElroy said LSU could possibly go 5-7. For this to occur, LSU would have to lose to Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi State, and Auburn. That's probably the most ridiculous. Of course McElroy followed that one up by saying he "isn't worried at all" about Bama at QB.

Yeah I gave him props just last week about knowing his stuff and not being biased and a pretty good analyst, then he sits all over himself this weel with some terrible analysis on not just LSU, but several teams.

That SEC crew is pretty bad.

Bayoubreeze, that's also my prediction. 11-1 Loss at Ole Miss

I would take that in a heartbeat and love it. I believe Ole Miss is at worst an 8-4 team. To lose against them on the road would still give us one of the better losses of any team legitimately vying for a playoff spot at season's end.

To be truthful, I actually have Auburn and Ole Miss both at 9-3 and Bama either 9-3 or 10-2. Bama is on an actual rebuilding year this time.

If it mean getting to the playoffs, I could stomach it!

We know firsthand what happens when you lose your starting QB, starting RB, top 3 WRs, and 3/5 of your OL. But don't try to take that over to the SECRant.

You'll just be told that you're obsessed with Saban and they're not worried because Blake Sims was a first year starter and Kiffin is wonderful and their front seven is soooooo good that they won't need to score more than 20 ppg.
