I agree with this to a certain extent. Most of the fans who start trouble are the younger ones. I've never been to Gainesville but I've heard these same stories for years. We go to Alabama every time the Tigers play there. The same goes for Auburn. Bama is by far my favorite road trip. Both fan bases are largely just proud of their team. There are some that get a little out of hand. I enjoy arguing with them, and offer them a beer, a shot or something else. Most hang out and have fun. I have no desire to go to Florida because the good stories are few and far between.

With that said, stevogator, I do welcome you to join us for some of the best food, coldest beer and open debate about football before the game on Saturday.

The UF fans are the worst. Weren't they the ones who kept calling your QB and threatening to rape and murder him and his family members?

I hear they're already at it again this year.

you will never get treated worse than any other place than Gainesville. I would almost compare it to going to a Philadelphia Eagles game. They will get in your face and try to start fights. Some guy made that mistake for the 2002 Florida game.

God, I hope this is not F'ing true.

I will never go back to gainesville. I have dealt with every fan base in the SEC and while I do become embarrassed by LSU fan behavior sometimes, they were terrible. It was never warranted or in good fun. A friend of mine is a GA fan and went to Jacksonville last year, he got it a lot worse than I did and that was a neutral site.

some of the worse looking girls in the SEC are at florida as well. You would think they would have alot hotties, no. most of the hot girls go to Florida State in Florida.

I hope this year is different than 2007, but I can't say I ran into the nice LSU fans who offer their tailgate hospitality. And I was walking around with a couple LSU fans. I have plenty of Auburn and Alabama friends, the general consensus is that Baton Rouge is the most inhospitable.

I'm hardly some jort-wearing cocky florida douche fan. Here's to hoping I'm proven wrong by personal experience and other horror stories
