Worst Fans in The SEC.... Has to be Florida

Me and friends have been numerous times and never been treated so bad. I thought i just had a bad experience but they are just mean spirited people. I've heard this from so many different people that say the same thing. What's you're take?

i've been multiple times
they were perhaps even more arrogant before their 2nd NC...its nearly impossible to talk football with them
their women are mediocre
and the bowels of their fanbase, specifically those who arent even smart enough to know how to mail an application to UF, are perhaps the most disgusting, ignorant, and violent people i have ever come across

worst road trip i've been on by far. Auburn, Alabama, and now Georgia all had great fans

Your not the only....I despise UF fans more than any other fanbase...Not to mention Gainesville is one shitty city IMO

It's Johnny-come-lately syndrome at its finest.
Up until the mid 80s or so, Florida (with a couple of random exceptions) was pretty much considered one of the main doormat teams of the SEC.
It shows in their fanbase.

Absolutely the worst. The only SEC fans that are not hospitable. I sat in the Florida sections a few years ago in TS and this 70 something year old man turned around and screamed in my face after every big play. He is lucky I chose to respect my elders that day cause if he would have been about 20 years younger he would have gotten KTFO!!!

I have had pretty good experiences. I wear P&G all t he time and they are pretty good sports with appropriate behavior. Have the occasional Gator-tard, but all teams have their share. They are ARROGANT, but not any worse than any other fan base. And after last year's beat down, can't say much back at'em.

I went to high school in Orlando back pre-Spurrier (1980's) - and the kids in my school who were Gator fans were all complete arrogant a-holes. My friends were all FSU and Miami fans.
Gainesville still ranks as the worst road trip I've ever taken - even worse than UGA in 2004. I NEVER pull for that school in any sport.

I like good natured trash talk but UF people get out of hand. There was a near riot at the Varsity a few years ago 100% on the UF fans. They were acting like animals and it wasn't in a fun way.

Been twice to the Swamp and will never go back. Both times the Gaytors won and I have never been insulted/cussed at so much in all my life and that was after the game. We were minding our own business getting to the car and OMG it was coming more so from the nasty Gaytor women fans. I was embarrassed for them. I know we have our share but OMG this was the worst. We actually had one couple come up to us and apologize for the filthy mouth of these Florida fans.

The worst Gator fans are the ones that did not even go there. FSU fans are in hiding. Miami fans are trying to get the mojo back.

I had to punch a student leaving the stadium last year for yelling in my girlfriends ear. They are absolutely the worst fanbase I have seen. I've been to Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, War Memorial, and Alabama. Florida is the worst IMO by far.

i tailgate next to parking lot of visiting fans that come on buses. All have been nice and have stopped by our tent to taste our food and etc. Florida fans on the other hand seemed a little snotty or too good to mingle with us. So frickem

I made the trip to Gainesville in '96 and I will never go back. They were spitting at us from the balconies of the bars across the street. Even their older fans are insanely obnoxious. The elderly couple that sat behind us in '07 were snooty, rude, and completely ignorant. Before the game, I told them to let me know if I was blocking their view and I would sit down during plays so they could see. The woman says, "will you really?", as if I was lying to her. Pathetic.

This can be said about every school, I remember being in BR in '97 when you guys beat us and stormed the field. My mother-in-law was cussed at and physically pushed around. This happens everywhere, there are bad apples that drink too much at every game. I have had alot of fun at LSU games and plan on more fun Saturday.

I NEVER pull for Florida in bowl games or at any other time and get criticized because we are supposed to be "SEC brothers". That's a bunch of crap. Go to their message boards. They hate LSU and are the most arrogant and obnoxious group in college sports. Are all of you too young to remember the final four where the Florida section booed LSU on national TV? Ask any of them if they consider us their SEC brothers and they will laugh in your face. If its Florida and Texas in the National Championship, I'm all Horns!
