I find it odd that a student who was there, and COPS ARRIVED ON SCENE not long after the fight. Why didn't he speak to the cops then, why just go home?
I've seen hundres of fights in Tigerland and never once stayed to talk to the police. It is perfectly logical that he did not think it was necessary to discuss a bar fight with police.

police said no vehicular assault occurred.
His statements already dont jive with police facts.
The police dont have this statement as it just came out today. If his statement is credible and accurate then it will jive.
Are you that fricking dense?

But if you are not from LSU, and it's dark outside...Is it reasonable to believe that JJ wasn't recognized until his face was put all over BR TV?
I wouldn't know the Penn St QB if he walked up in broad daylight and hit me in the face

He specifically stated that it was a muscular white guy that was the instigator. Said that JJ was trying to stop the fight.

I know who he is. Its a simple question

If you don't know all the facts, it would appear so.
But it was a tradition to break curfew, per Michael bonnette.

quote:Well then using that logic... if JJ was a part of the fight, he would have been charged yesterday.
If JJ was innocent bystander they would have cleared him yesterday.
Agreed.

If JJ was innocent bystander they would have cleared him yesterday.

If they were innocent, why were all of the LSU players crying when questioned by the police? Sounds like they were coming to a realization of the consequences of their actions.
Posted on 8/24/11 at 11:28 am to lsuroadie
So is it possible JJ was actually trying to be a leader in all this and was trying to diffuse the situation?

Seriously how simpleminded can yall be? If the police are still investigating and have more witnesses to interview how the frick are they going to come out and say "oh well we haven't heard from all eyewitnesses but JJ is innocent". Yall are some naive mfers.

Oh and if he DID call the police first, they would have told him NOT to talk with the media.
Maybe that's why he called the radio show first?

What you dont seem to realize is that all of the coaches knew they were going to break curfew seeing as its been a tradition for a long long time. Its more of a suggestion on this particular night than a rule

quote:C'mon Doc ..You are better than that.
So instead of CALLING THE POLICE, he calls a call in radio show to voice his story.
Yeah, that is pretty fishy.

Either that or they know they shouldn't have fought and they are realizing the severity of this and how badly it could hurt them and their school.
Posted on 8/24/11 at 11:29 am to TheDoc
Do you find ANYTHING fishy about the alleged "victims" story? Or do you take that as gospel but doubt the player's story(which you don't know). Is there anything fishy about hiring a lawyer 8 hours after an alleged fight in a bar in which no arrests were made? There is truth to be found here, but intelligent people will wait for the facts.
