With the hire of Aranda, will the Tigers move to a 3-4 Defense?

If so, what would our front seven look like?

If he feels the need to move our 4-3 to a 3-4, then he will. That being said he'll do whatever he thinks is necessary for our defense to be most successful.

Yep, he'll play to the strength of our talent, and to the scheme of the Offenses we play. Disguised blitzes on most plays, stop the run on the way to the QB.

Yes...

Maybe not immediately day 1, but eventually we will go to his 3-4 scheme, which is a 3-4 1 gap. Different from the traditional 3-4 2 gap scheme that most teams run.

Aranda's head is spinning trying to evaluate the talent he has now! Like a kid in a candy store, "smart aggressiveness ". CANT WAIT!

Aranda will probably run a predominant 4-2 with a 4-3/3-4 multiple look depending on our front 7 growth.

His 2-4-5 package is what we're most excited about.

How many times has this been asked? People need to start reading the Articles and former Threads and all their questions would have answers!

I think that would be a 4-3. Neal isn't a linebacker. He's not dropping into coverage unless it's to sneak a lineman into the short lanes.

Neal will be a down lineman. If they play 3-4 Neal will move to the inside like Frank Herron, and the four linemen mentioned above, and Gilmore, will man those three positions.

Bower, Alexander and the best of the freshmen would be the candidates for that OLB spot.
