Actually made friends with a few fans in Houston. Got to drink some spotted cow, they brought a keg of it with them. Was a good time.

I didn't mean good beer as in quality beer. I meant good beer as in "perfectly fine, non contaminated, drinkable beer"

ETA: but hey if you're the type of guy that enjoys wasting beer of any kind there's a special ring in hell for you.

There well might be a special ring in hell waiting for me but it won't be for wasting beer.

Roger, it's a millennial thing. Clothes mean more than the kind of person you are. They have polo shirts, pants with creases that could filet a sheephead, and that god awful spray stuff that smells like women's cootch spray. They think its nifty.

Jesus... four dudes don't make a state. Plenty of people wear polos or button-ups to bars.

Get a grip. Everyone knows Baton Rouge is the fashion capital of college football.

Seriously, people from Louisiana are poking fun at Wisconsin residents for being hicks? Along with West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas- Louisiana is widely considered to be one of the most redneck (and racist) states in the Union.

Simmer down, Toughy. Not disrespecting anyone, simply pointing out hypocrisy of some posters here.

So they buy a lot of beer but don't actually drink them.

Fair enough. We all have idiots. Lurking Badger message boards reveals numerous posts with the common theme of presumed superiority of Big 10 schools, player intelligence, and moral standards. Then the anguish after another SEC victory. Best wishes for a good game.

Agreed, and I don't like that, either. I'm not much of a trash-talker as I'm pretty sure I won't be suiting up on September 3. I have ton of respect for LSU and your football history. A friend from Wisconsin is on the LSU staff and has nothing but great things to say about the program. The bottom line is Wisconsin and LSU are both fine institutions with great sports programs and the fans are fun and like to party. Those making the trip to Lambeau will enjoy the experience but I really would have loved a home-and-home in Baton Rouge & Madison but money talks.

I am making the trip to Lambeau. I love Wi. Have great friends from Portage that come down to duck hunt with us every Dec. wife and I are staying the week at Foxhills in Michicott. Have made several deer and goose hunts with them near Neilsville. Great folks up there. By the way, no hard feelings. One of my friends is a Badger alum. Been fun riding him last two years. Hope it continues.
