Do any of these include godamn airline tickets. That's the hardest part for me figuring out where to fly and all that. Probably to late to get anything that's not a 3 hour drive

Fly into Chicago.

I'm waiting on the individual game tickets through the schools. I feel like I'll be able to get them for cheaper than what the scalpers are asking now.

Then I'd have to get a rental and drive 2-3 hours correct? I underestimated how much of a hassle this was going to be lol

It's about 2 hours to Milwaukee and then another 1.5 to GB.

We're flying into Chicago Friday and out Monday. A buffer day helps.

It's way too early to even consider buying tickets on the secondary market. They will come down dramatically. They always do.

Yes, we are planning on staying in Milwaukee. The drive is about 1.5-2 hr and I read it is an easy drive.

It's the fourth largest stadium in the NFL.

so tell us, how did you do?

you know, of trying convincing yourself you didnt piss away $1700 bucks?

why are you bitching??? If people choose to spend their money a certain way, who are you to question it? Maybe they are wealthy and have alot of disposable income. Regardless, if you choose not to go, fine, but it's not your call as to how others spend their money.

I think one fair point is that he probably could have gotten those same tickets but saved multiple hundreds of bucks, just by waiting a month or two.

I have close family with vacation property a short drive from Green Bay, so several of us are going with very little costs for accommodations (we're chipping in to pay utility expenses for the week). Which means that if I am forced to pay an out of the wazoo for game tickets, I have a bit extra $$$ to spend on them .

Flights from my neck of the woods into Chicago and Milwaukee are very inexpensive, so as soon as we have schedules lined up (to who flies in where and when so we can chip in on rental cars), I'm booking. We've been planning this since the games against Wisky were announced.

We even have family coming who don't want to go to the game, they just want to hang out and party on the lake and watch on TV...big time family reunion, and my BiL (a Wisky grad) is being a very good sport about his LSU in-laws coming over to take over his summer house.

Wish there was a way to boycot. The conglomerates sucked up all the hotel rooms and even tickets. Now they're packaging and selling them at 4-10x their value. I jumped on a room the day they became available (1yr advance) and was called hours later telling me it was no longer available. Manager at Marriott told me what happened. It's a bit ridiculous. How about tents?
