There is a thread on the SECR about WL being on some radio show today. Said he was commenting on LSU and how he had only been to Kansas one time, says that he told them (LSU) that he only worked TX? Hope this MFer doesn't frick this season up any worse for us than it is already.

I have a strong feeling that this douche will do or say damn near anything at this point! I just hope he doesn't cause any harm to us, we can't afford anymore drama right now.

I can't handle any more bad news about LSU. Can we just Block out all the crap and have a good football season.

The comments he made on air stated that "I've only been to Kansas once in my life", said he had a "friend " of his send the KA and Cali tapes. Did not sound good to me at all.

What is wrong with? We bought a juco package and he sent it to us. If he actually did something wrong, then why doesn't he just come out and say it rather then just hinting ambiguous blabber all the time? His rep is already ruined.

I dont see what the problem is. If lsu didn't know it was doing wrong, how can it be held responsible? Isn't that why auburn is not getting punished? They "apparently" didn't know what his dad was doing.

I can't remember exactly how it was worded but, he basically said he told LSU he only worked TX and he implied they kind of told him to go elsewhere? The thread is over on the SEC-Rant

Although it would be far better for him to be under a gag order, I doubt Lyles will wind up hurting LSU--but he is unpredictable & apparently ready to do media interviews as often as possible.
I think of him as a flesh-peddling, third party agent-type jerk who probably feels he is far more important to college football than he really is.

Apparently he is going to be on this radio show for the duration of the week discussing his interviews with the NCAA. He has meetings with them all week long.

The bigger concern was him talking about LSU having him send info for Kansas because they could not have a second Texas recruiting service while actually pumping him for information on Texas recruits. I don't know if that falls under just trying to get the most out of a source or willingly trying to circumvent the NCAA rules, but it will definitely be enough to get the NCAA to investigate some more.
