No.

In fact...any dumbass that has such a sign in the crowd has a better than 60% chance of getting their arse kicked.

Some dude on OT yesterday tried to nuke a spiderweb by lighting up a stream of WD40, that's what I want.

All those hipster douchbag's can go to hell. Jindal too.

God forbid LSU punts on the first possession. The boos will be insufferable, especially considering the idiots that boo think they're voicing their disdain for the coaching staff when in reality the players are the ones affected.

The vocals need to reflect the direction of the boos. I feel it will still affect the players. It might be good if they have similar feelings about the head coach and his direction of the team.

The women in my family are pretty knowledgeable about sports and love talking about it. They are also not Les Miles fans.

Players aren't stupid.

It isn't like they are unaware of Miles critics.

Sheesh

When things start off slow, there is no calming feeling in the stadium that the ship will be righted - there is pure panic and the overwhelming feeling of "here we go again." That is infectious to the players too.

Very true. It is very likely JSU will give this team fits. They have good players on Defense and if our Offensive line plays like last week it's going to be hard to move the ball on them. Especially the way Harris misses on his passes. I hate hearing boos in Tiger Stadium but that first offensive series is likely to get them going.

A lot of the fan support for Les that game was more of a farewell and thanks for the 10 (mostly) successful seasons

This is how I took it that day. Apparently the admin took it differently.

The one time LSU fans decide to be classy and it bit us in the arse.

Won't make that mistake again.

They were probably not the one holding up the signs then

But like another poster says a lot of people were just trying to send him off with respect, not beg for him to be retained

And that is the key. While CLM the 'man' has been great for LSU FB and the community...CLM the FB Coach seems to have lost his ability to properly prepare a team, make game-day adjustments, and take corrective action after a game. The game appears to have moved forward, away from CLM's abilities.

LSU FB is about competing for, and winning games/championships. Even with the resources he has at his disposal - facilities, coaches, recruits - bluntly CLM is not getting it done.

It would not surprise me at all if the 'boo birds' appear this Sat, as warranted by the team's performance. I'm OK with it as these are paid admission fans, who are passionate about their LSU FB. This is not Pop Warner.
