Who do y'all think the two guys are?

quote:

On starting to get an idea of the rotation he wants…
“It’ll probably be a couple more weeks. Changes daily, it is like the stock market, it does goes up and down. If you asked me today I may give you five. If you asked me tomorrow I may give you another five. I would say there are two guys now that I feel very comfortable with. The other three you can change all the time. There are two of them that I feel comfortable with them. I trust their body of work, I trust their consistent effort, and I trust their toughness. There are two guys that I almost said they are shoo-ins, but they could fall off the face of the map, but they’ve shown no sign of that since we’ve been here. The other three, pick a day. That is a good thing too. We have a lot of guys where there is not a lot of difference. If one guy is not ready to go, you can wheel another one out there. You have different options which is good. We have a lot of guys that are similar players and they all want to play. Nobody wants to sit the bench.”

I would say Epps and Reath. Wade has spoken glowingly about Epps since he's been here. Reath also plays with effort. Finally, LSU is very thin with frontcourt depth. They'll need some size inside and one guy is coming off of surgery and hasn't practiced (Combs) and the other is a true Freshman (Kiir). By process of elimination I think you get your 2.

Sampson is definitely one as a source tells me he(Wade) thinks he is our best player. The way he talked about Epps today tells me he is the other

I probably would have gone with Sampson and Reath initially, but after hearing how Wade talks about Epps it makes me believe it's he and Sampson.

He also talked about Kiir at the five. I don't know what to read into that regarding Reath.

I think it's Epps and Reath. Wade has said he thinks Epps will shoot 40% from 3 this year. It probably is Sampson and Reath though.

Everytime I read an interview with him, he is always talking about Mays and Reath. He has also had good things to say about Epps. So I would say two of those three.

based on the players he consistently mentions it's out of Mays, Duop, and Epps. he may be speaking to certain players through the media but taken at face value it's two of those three

Let’s be honest...the 5 that remained from last year have had to show him something. He cleaned house with the rest.

Looking forward to the season!

I think its Mays and Reath as well. Reath is the only obvious starter from last year and Mays has improved tremendously leadership and game wise.

I've always liked epps' game. Will Wade seems to think he can bring the best out of him.

Can't wait

Mayes and Sampson, Mayes looks like a man now. The off season work outs and nutrition has lots of these kids looking totally different Physically

Samson and Reath would have been my guess. Consistentcy has never been a strong suit with Epps. But, saying he's going to shoot 40% from 3 is meaningful.
