Just say you're sorry, you were wrong, and and the rant is smarter than you and all will be forgiven

It's on the youtubes for those interested. Gotta say I'm impressed & look for good things to come in the PMac again.

The guy is fired up, fired up. He does like to say things twice, say 'em twice. But repetition can be good, can be good. Enough of that - I'm on board.

He should bring in DeJuan Collins to talk to the team about competing and the importance of not punching one another.

I have the impression that, within the past two years, we've gained three of the smartest coaches ever at LSU. What a hoot to see Aranda, Canada and now Wade unleashed on the talent pool of this state. Coach O brings enthusiasm backed up by the expertise of his offensive and defensive coordinators. I believe that we've just hired a BB coach that is the full package- one that combines the enthusiasm with the expertise. Go Tigers!

Ok completely sold On the hire for the program. I think we're in great hands. His vision for the program is right on point and I think we'll see immediate improvement. One of the parts I liked about the interview was him talking about being high energy, he said something to the effect that he has to model the behavior he wants from his players. He said if he was boring and not moving around that's how the team will be, but if he's high emergy moving around and up tempo that's what his team will be. Just think about that if they're doing that in practice it is going to translate to the game. I don't have a problem saying that he reminds of Saban a little bit with his attention to details and doing the small things correctly to give themselves an advantage. His thing i think is kind of saying that you can't just have a bunch of great athletes, but having great athletes who can do all of the little things right you're putting yourself in a great position to succeed. I also liked him being excited to recruit Louisiana. Think about the players that have left, we've missed some great ball players in state in recent years. It's kind of the idea that saban and to an extent dinardo had with keeping talent here at LSU and also tapping into areas like Houston when possible. He compared our program to Florida and I think he has the right idea. We don't have the population but like he said we don't have a bunch of colleges to compete with like they do. Anyway, the program is in great hands I believe and I think we'll be competitive in many games and probably surprise some people as early as next year and then in the coming years we will really get rolling. Exciting time for LSU basketball.

If we can make some noise in Maui we could go dancing. shite playing in Maui is going to boost our RPI and SOS a ton which will help if we are on the bubble.
